Logical puzzles are a type of logic puzzle whose puzzles are solved by means of deduction, a form of logical reasoning.
The puzzle consists of a description in which categories with the same number of elements are given, as well as a series of clues that contain direct or indirect statements about which elements are connected and which are not.
The puzzler’s task is to match each element of one category with exactly one element of every other category without contradiction. The solution to the puzzle can be presented in a table in which the related elements are listed in rows or columns. Logicals can be solved systematically with solution diagrams in which related elements can be determined logically and graphically by ticking them off.
