The power of the clipboard allows you to use different tools one after another, thereby creating tool chains. While experimenting, you may find that you need to use one or more tools multiple times. For example, the “Replace” tool.
With tabs, you can now open multiple tools at the same time. To do this, you open what are called tabs.
Open a Tab
In the title bar, clicking the three dots opens a menu. Selecting “Copy to New Tab” opens a new tab and places the current tool there.
A new icon now appears in the title bar showing the number of open tabs. Clicking on it opens an overview:
- Home Tab
- Copied Tool
All tabs still show the same tool.
Using the Home tab, you can now switch to another tool and open it in a new tab by clicking the three dots.
The icon in the title bar now changes to show the number of open tabs. Clicking it opens an overview:
- Home Tab
- Tool 1
- Tool 2
This way, you can open multiple tools and use them at the same time. To switch between them, click the box with the number.
Click the X to close the tab and, with it, the tool.
