The clipboard is an important tool for exchanging data between apps. The GC Wizard has a unique feature in this regard: it doesn’t use the smartphone’s clipboard—that is, the Android or iOS clipboard—but rather its own.
This clipboard offers the following advantages:
- You can store an “unlimited” number of entries
- Entries can be edited in the clipboard
- Entries are deleted after a set amount of time
Configuration of the Clipboard
In Settings > General, you can set the number of entries and the retention period.
Usage of the Clipboard
You can access the clipboard from any input field.
To do this, simply press and hold the input field. A pop-up will appear with the options “Cut, Copy, Paste, …”
Tapping “Paste” opens the clipboard. Here, you can choose between the smartphone’s default clipboard and the entries in the GC Wizard clipboard.
Editing of entries
Clicking the gear icon takes you to the clipboard editor, where you can edit or delete the entries.
