The “Decabit” function encrypts and decrypts texts with the decabit code.

Decabit is the term used in ripple control technology for the remote control of power consumers by power supply companies to describe a datagram that is used to transmit control signals over the power lines. It was developed in the late 1960s by the Zellweger company.

A decabit command always consists of 5 pulses and 5 pauses, i.e. a 5-out-of-10 selection.
